DSK achieves Eco-School status after receiving Bronze award from WESSA!

In 2018, the DSK placed a major focus on Going Green. Many different projects, activities, talks and competitions were organized to create awareness around social and environmental sustainability in a holistic approach.
Our efforts were recognised by WESSA, the Wildlife and Environment Society of South Africa, who awarded the DSK with a Bronze status from their Eco-School programme. WESSA is a leading implementer of high impact environmental and conservation initiatives in Southern Africa and their programme is active in almost 70 countries around the world.
We are proud to say that we achieved to receive the first award as an international Eco School!
Well done and a huge thank you to our Going Green team, especially teacher Alex Mols, parents Lauren Bräuer, Heike Brunner, Vera Düx, Titilayo Adedokun-Helm, Lena Thiede and of course our Eco Rangers for all your efforts and care for our environment.
