A liaison teacher is chosen for a year at a public or private school by the student representative committee or a meeting of class representatives. Should a student feel himself unjustly treated (or judged) and should he experience personal of familial problems, he is able to approach the liaison teacher. The liaison teacher advises the student committee on several decisions, but does not intervene in any such decisions of the SRC. He is a link between the individual committees. The chosen candidate must agree to the vote as liaison teacher before it comes into operation. Liaison teachers have the right to participate in the meetings of the SRC. They must receive invitations to the meeting well in advance and must as a rule use their right.
