A school is not just an educational institution, but a place where people from all walks of life meet, interact and socialise. Its members and their efforts, ideas and commitments – even after their school days – are vital for a great school. In order to encourage our former learners to keep in touch and to support social networking between alumni, learners and the school, the DSK has created an alumni portal with JUST, as well as a DSK Alumni Facebook page.

While the Facebook page is great for arranging social gatherings and the organisations of class reunions, the alumni portal sets its focus more on career-related topics and services.

What are the benefits of our alumni network?

  • Get news and information from the school with invitations to upcoming events
  • Use our alumni portal, Facebook page and school events as possible network opportunities
  • Organise class reunions with the help of the DSK
  • Meet current learners and get involved as an exhibitor at our Career Expo or be a prospective employer
  • Become a sponsor of the DSK Ubuntu Talent Fund and support learners from low-income families
  • Make use of the school’s sport and extramural services
  • Start a business relationship with the school
  • Get involved and support school projects like the Bazaar

The alumni portal and alumni Facebook page are two fabulous platforms, which easily connect all members of our network.
If you would like to become a member of our alumni portal and network with hundreds of former learners all over the world, please email alumni@dsk.co.za
