Arts & Culture at the DSK
Unleashing Creativity Arts & Culture
Unleashing creativity through drama, art, and music, offering all learners unique opportunities to explore their talents, express themselves, and engage in diverse cultural experiences.
Music
Music is an integral part of our school life: all learners from Grades 1 to 12 receive practical music lessons. Music enthusiasts can also join the school orchestra, various bands, or the choir and showcase their talents at concerts.
The Gisela Lange Music Centre – where talents are discovered and nurtured.
Named after its founder, the GLMZ is used for regular music classes in the mornings. In the afternoons, it focuses on individual private lessons in various instruments, including piano, guitar, drums, voice, flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, horn, trombone, violin, viola, cello, as well as chamber music and music theory.

Drama
Promoting creative talent – whether acting, directing, makeup, or stage designer. The drama club is the right place. Starting in Grade 8, drama can also be chosen as an elective subject.

Art
There are no limits to creativity at the DSK – both in classes and in our extramurals. We also support our learners in presenting their work in numerous exhibitions.
