English & German Stream
German-speaking learners start their education with the DSK in Grade 1 and can continue until Grade 12 (German stream). Our English stream intake is in Grade 5, this is the only time learners may join the school with no prior knowledge of the German language.
Both, learners from the German and English stream graduate with South African and European university entrance qualifications.
As of 2007, we offer two types of leaving qualifications, these are the German International Abitur & IEB-NSC or IEB-NSC & German Language Diploma II (DSD II) qualifications. The learner will elect one of the two qualifications from Grade 10 onwards.

German Stream
We offer classes from Grade 1 – 12 for German-speaking learners.
Teaching and tests take place according to the bilingual character, in German and English.

English Stream
Teaching, learning and tests for these learners will be largely done in English. These learners will graduate with an IEB-NSC qualification (National Senior Certificate) and a DSD II (German Language Diploma II) after completing Grade 12.
The only time English-speaking learners, who have no prior knowledge of the German language, may join our school is in Grade 5. Extensive Daf (German as a Foreign Language) classes are integrated into their timetables.
If the learner displays strong German language skills, there is a possibility that they may change over to the German stream.
