After school activities at the DSK Extramurals & Afterschool Sports
The school offers a variety of sports as extramurals in the afternoons. These are not compulsory, but learners are encouraged to participate in and be committed to at least one extramural. A variety of sports are offered throughout the year, with winter and summer seasons allowing learners to train and compete in leagues and tournaments against neighbouring schools.
Extramurals offered
- Summer Sports (Term 1 and 4): Athletics, Basketball, Beach Volleyball, Handball, Swimming, Tennis
- Winter Sports (Term 2 and 3): Ball Skills, Cross Country, Football/Soccer, Netball, Touch Rugby, Table Tennis, Volleyball
- All-year Sports: Chess, Dragon Boating, Judo & Karate
- IT & Coding: EV3 Lego, Coding, Senior Robotics and Electronics and more..
- Arts & Culure : Drawing & Free Design , Social Media, Drama, Clay Creation
- Music: Marimba Band, Beat Club, SELO, Choir, Jazz Band, JNS and more..
- Dance: Dance Madness
- Languages: D.E.L.F
- Social Clubs: Eco Rangers, Diversity Club, K.I.D.S., Science & Innovation Club etc.
*Many of the extramurals are free of charge.
