At the DSK, Grade 5 – 9 learners make up the Middle School. Only in Grade 5, can English speaking children with no prior knowledge of the German language, join the DSK, as we offer two streams, one for German speakers and one for English speakers from this stage on.

• Our learners benefit from a diverse educational programme, with a number of subjects taught bilingually.
• Languages are prominent at the DSK. In addition to the compulsory subjects German and English, we offer French, Afrikaans and isiXhosa as foreign languages.
• Learners of both streams are taught together in several subjects.
