High School
A school leaving qualification is obtained once the final examinations in Grade 12 are successfully passed. Our high school prepares our learners for further education as well as for their chosen careers in a South African, German or international environment.
As a bilingual German school abroad, we are accountable to the examination authorities in South Africa as well as in Germany. The highest South African qualification, the National Senior Certificate (NSC) is examined by the Independent Examination Board (IEB) , which is recognized nationally and internationally. The Standing Conference of the Ministers of Education and Cultural Affairs, on behalf of the Federal Republic of Germany, is responsible for the German International Abitur.
Our learners graduate with one of two double qualifications, depending on whether they are in the German stream or English stream.
By the time they graduate, our learners are fully bilingual. Both streams offer qualifications which can open doors to international study options and careers.
